This report is the result of an industry-based survey and analysis of remuneration levels for senior executives engaged in management roles within licensed community clubs in Qld.

All respondents managed clubs that provide gaming / slot machines, other gambling operations such as keno and sports betting lounges, cafes, food, beverage outlets and function / event operations.

Some respondent venues also offered ancillary business undertakings, some small and some large. Some respondent operations offered or managed accommodation facilities, gyms, major sporting facilities, investment funds etc. One respondent club owns and operates a substantial shopping complex.

The on-line survey platform used was Survey Monkey.
The instrument was sent to general managers and CEOs for completion from

late July 2020 to mid-August 2020.

The survey captures remuneration levels that existed immediately prior to the on-set of interruptions caused by Covid-19.
